Prevention: We can End HIV

Normally, this time of year we put the performances center stage for Deborah J. Simon Spotlight, but we are boldly embracing our collective new normal.

In 2021, the “spotlight” is on our mission and our mission is to prevent HIV. As we commit to celebrate Spotlight, together at home with close family and maybe a few friends on Saturday, April 24, 2021, prepare yourself for one big plot twist: We can end HIV in Indiana.

We have the science, knowledge, tools, and plan. We will be aggressive and innovative. Why? Because in 2018*, 12,708 Hoosiers were living with HIV. The confirmed 2018 HIV diagnoses are a 14.6% increase from 2013 with incremental increases every year in between. (*Data collected annually by Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) and published publicly by February of the following year. On behalf of IDOH, we ask for grace and patience related to available 2019 and 2020 data).

Help us flip the script. Make your selection below to financially support HIV prevention that will end HIV in Indiana.

Be part of a soon-to-be written, epic finale. Be part of ending HIV.
